Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the third largest US automaker and the world’s seventh biggest, is undergoing a strategic turnaround – with chief executive Sergio Marchionne aiming for increased profits and sales.

While the carmaker is highly indebted even as it pushes for massive investments to support the five-year development plan unveiled last year, its situation in North America is highly spectacular, after more than five years of increased deliveries. And Marchionne, who talked to the company’s dealers on Tuesday in Las Vegas, showed them how the automaker intends to keep up with the trends. According to various reports perspiring after the meeting, the CEO showed the dealers a new range of Fiat Chrysler vehicles that will pour through the end of the decade – the focus will be to modernize its current icons and even bring back to life certain famous names.

According to the Automotive News, the dealers were particularly impressed by the upcoming new generation of the Dodge Charger and the rekindle of the Dodge Barracuda convertible – which are sharing their platform with the newly introduced Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan. The Wall Street Journal even reported the upcoming Charger was very close to a four-door Corvette, according to a dealer source and it is expected to sport a design influenced by the 1999 Charger R/T concept.

The upcoming generation of the iconic Jeep Wrangler was also discussed, with sources claiming it would have the same classic lines and off-road aptitudes when it comes as a new generation in 2018 and also increased fuel efficiency. The dealers also saw the upcoming Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The reports further mentioned the expected release of the Alfa Romeo SUV, new Maserati cars and the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk that would make use of the 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 engine.
