If you think the regular 707-hp Dodge Challenger Hellcat is too tame, then you may want to pay attention to what the folks at Walsh Motorsports have done.
As a prize for a charity auction, this Challenger Hellcat X features a 6.2-liter HEMI V8, that’s not just supercharged, but features twin-turbos for a total output of 805 ponies and 800 lb-ft of torque. The Hellcat X draws inspiration from the U.S. Navy prototype XF6F Hellcat aircraft. That apparently leads to the appearance upgrades, like the raw-aluminum hood extractors, center hood scoop, accented front grille surround, hand-fabricated rear diffuser and adjustable spoilers found at the chin and rear-decklid.
A whopping $3 covers the price of a single raffle ticket needed to try to win this Hellcat X, but there’s another prize to go along with it. You can also win a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T with a 440 Magnum V8, four-speed manual and limited slip rear-differential.
Winners will have to pay $40,000 in taxes to claim the cars, but that’s not much in comparison to the real street credit these two rides will command on the street.
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the New Beginning Children’s Homes charity.
