2015 Dodge Charger RT Mopar Performance Package Front Three Quarter
Mopar is launching a performance upgrade kit for the 2015 Dodge Charger R/T, but you’ll have to act fast if you want to add the parts to your sedan. Just 50 examples of the performance package will be offered, and each costs a cool $3,550. The Mopar upgrades are intended only for the 2015 Dodge Charger R/T and its 370-hp, 5.7-liter V-8 engine. The kit includes Mopar’s Scat Pack Performance Stage 1 components, consisting of a cold-air intake, a new exhaust, and a reprogrammed engine computer that boost power by 18 hp and 18 lb-ft of torque, to 388 hp and 413 lb-ft. (While this package is called Scat Pack, the actual Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack model has a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 instead of this car’s 5.7-liter engine.) Other upgrades include a front strut-tower brace, new sport pedals, doorsill plates with the Mopar logo, a serialized Mopar dashboard badge, and matte-black Mopar graphics on the car’s bodywork. The $3,550 entry fee also gives buyers a special Mopar magnetic mechanic’s tray, a special brochure detailing the upgrades to the owner’s 2015 Dodge Charger R/T, and a branded wooden case in which all the kit’s components are shipped to customers. Mopar tends to offer an upgrade package for a different car every year, including a Mopar Chrysler 300 in 2012, a Mopar Dodge Dart in 2013, and a Mopar Dodge Challenger last year.
