FCA announces management shakeup
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced a management shakeup that expands responsibilities for three key executives.
Mike Manley has been appointed head of the Ram brand. He will retain his current seat on the board of directors and continue to serve as Jeep brand boss and chief operating officer for Asia-Pacific operations.
Fellow board member Reid Bigland will take top responsibility for NAFTA Fleet operations. He will keep his other roles as CEO of FCA Canada, head of the Alfa Romeo brand, and senior VP of sales for North America.
FCA’s current head of passenger car brands — Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and Fiat — has been appointed to the board of directors.
“The moves were made to ensure proper representation of all of FCA’s major brands on the [Group Executive Council], the highest management level decision making body within the FCA organization,” FCA said in a statement.
It is unclear if the shuffle is part of a broader restructuring effort within the company.
