Dodge has unveiled a fleet of Star Wars-theme models to promote the seventh installment in the series called Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Set to patrol the streets of Los Angeles this weekend, the fleet includes a Charger SRT Hellcat and a Challenger SRT Hellcat that draw inspiration from the First Order Stormtroopers. The cars feature a white exterior with black accents and tinted windows. Both models also have a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 707 bhp (527 kW) and 650 lb-ft (880Nm) of torque. It enables the Charger SRT Hellcat to run the quarter mile in 11.0 seconds and hit a top speed of 204 mph (328.3 km/h).
The leader of the pack is a black Viper ACR with a Kylo Ren-inspired wrap. The model also has an 8.4-liter V10 engine that produces 645 hp (480 kW) and 600 lb-ft (812 Nm) of torque. Other highlights include Brembo carbon ceramic brakes and a track-tuned adjustable suspension with Bilstein coilover racing shocks. There’s also a minimalistic interior and special 19-inch alloy wheels with bespoke Kumho Ecsta V720 high-performance tires.
Fans can track the cars in real-time on Twitter with the #Dodge and #TheForceAwakens hashtags. They can then hunt the cars down and get their picture taken next to them.
