Dodge Charger Deep Stage 3 concept unveiled with styling and performance tweaks

Dodge has taken the wraps off the new Charger Deep Stage 3 concept.

Described as a “performance-driven version of the world’s only four-door muscle car,” the model has a Silver Bullet exterior with Matte Black accents and Mopar decals on the front fenders.  The model has also been equipped with a Mopar body kit that includes a front chin splitter, new side skirts, a rear spoiler and a unique rear valance.  The car also has a coilover lowering kit, strut tower braces, high-performance brakes and 22-inch Mopar Classic III wheels with a dark bronze finish.

The interior receives a modest makeover that includes Katzkin leather seats with perforated suede inserts and R/T embroidery.  Elsewhere there’s blue contrast stitching, Charger branded sill plates and premium floor mats.

Under the hood, the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine has been equipped with a trio of Mopar Scat Pack Performance kits.  They add a cold-air intake, a cat-back exhaust, a low-restriction oil filter and a new camshaft.  The packages also include Mopar Performance valve springs, new tie bars and upgraded pushrods.  Rounding out the upgrades are CNC-ported high-flow cylinder heads, new exhaust manifolds and high-performance catalysts.  Thanks to these modifications the engine produces up to an additional 75 bhp (55 kW) and 44 lb-ft (59 Nm) of torque.
