The Dodge Challenger has always been an intimidating vehicle, but giving it all-wheel drive will help give it a bit more bounce off the line.
The Dodge Challenger GT AWD Concept that has arrived at SEMA shows that the Challenger can be a mean all-weather machine. Equipped with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that powers all four wheels, this car also sports the Scat Pack 3 Performance kit, which includes an extra 75 horsepower and 44 lb-ft of torque. The all-wheel drive muscle car uses an eight-speed transmission.
And this Challenger GT AWD isn’t without its own signature style, MOPAR admits that they’ve strayed from its usual color pallet, with the Challenger sporting a matte-heavy paint scheme and awesome Header Orange highlights. The Challenger also rolls on awesome five-spoke 20-inch wheels. Inside, you’ll notice a flat-bottomed steering wheel and Header Orange stitching accenting the Katzkin leather seats, centre console, shifter boot and side panels.
Finally, the Challenger GT AWD has been lowered and sports Mopar performance front and rear strut tower braces.
