‘Dodge Brothers’ Focus of New Advertising Campaign

Dodge Brothers John and Horace are being celebrated in a series of new ad campaigns pushing the brand that bears their name.

The American automaker has released four new videos that highlight the Dodge Brothers’ passion for making great cars and how that enthusiasm still drives the brand today. The new ads launch this week and focus on the 2015 Dodge Dart and Durango as well as Scat Pack versions of the Charger and Challenger. All four spots were directed by Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody and include one 60-second ad titled “First Dodge.” The other pieces run for 30 seconds and are titled “Drive By,” “Discovery” and “Morse Code.”

The “First Dodge” ad creatively focuses on how innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit have been part of the Dodge brand since its early beginnings and features the 2015 Dodge Dart. In “Drive By,” a 2015 Dodge Durango becomes the focus along with its BeatsAudio system. That ad also features the song “No Flex Zone” from Interscope recording artists and American hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd.

“Discovery” shines the spotlight on the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger Scat Packs while flashing back to the Dodge Brothers sitting in two old Dodge touring cars. The last ad, “Morse Code,” opens with the 2015 Dodge Charger with the Dodge Brothers at the wheel, flashing their headlights in quick succession, spelling out a secret message in Morse Code.

“Today’s Dodge vehicles have the same passion for performance as John and Horace Dodge established in the first vehicles they crafted more than one hundred years ago,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, FCA – Global. “The initial ‘Dodge Brothers’ campaign we ran last year as a celebration of Dodge’s centennial was so successful that the brothers are now back in this cinematic ‘season two,’ beautifully directed by Academy Award winner Adrien Brody.”
