A Dodge Viper GTS tuned by GeigerCars image
The tuner guys from GeigerCars didn’t believe that 654 PS are sufficient for a Dodge Viper GTS, so they played a bit with the American muscle car.
Eco-friendliness and downsizing are not familiar terms for the tuners from GeigerCars. And what is the best project for them? It is also a car that has nothing to do with those modern world concepts: Dodge Viper GTS. Without a turbo or supercharger fitted, this old style US muscle car is powered by a naturally aspirated 8.4-litre V10 engine with 649 hp and 814 Nm of torque. But US car veteran Karl Geiger and his GeigerCars.de team have decided they can do better than that, so by GeigerCars emerged.
A modified airbox, a custom exhaust system, a sport catalysts and an ECU remap have boosted the engine to produce 710 PS at 6,100 rpm, with 861 Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. The consequences of their actions? A Viper than can go to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds, continuing to accelerate to its top speed of 341 km/h. All that power needs to be put properly to the ground, so the engineers installed a KW Variant 2 coil-over suspension kit, which drops the ride height around 30 mm and features a16-step adjustable rebound control, maximizing the grip of the 295/30ZR18 front and 355/30ZR19 rear tires. The modification to Viper’s exterior is only an in-house carbon-fibre aerodynamic kit that consists of a front spoiler lip, with matching rear spoiler and apron insert with diffuser.
